Your money is safe. In the price of our holidays is included a fee for an insurance premium that protects all our customers in the event of our financial failure.
Anyone of good average fitness can undertake these holidays. Take note of the distances and height gains and ask yourself whether you can manage. Some days will be tiring but people of all ages walk the Camino.
People who walk the final 100 kms. of the Camino de Santiago are entitled to a 'Compostela', which is a sort of certificate that commemorates the achievement. To obtain this you will need a 'Pilgrim's Passport', or 'Credencial', which can be bought for a small fee from churches or tourist information centres, and some small shops, anywhere between St. Jean Pied de Port and Sarria. This needs to be stamped at key stages during the walk (at churches and cafes, for example, along the route) and presented to the Oficina del Peregrino, Casa do Dean, Rua Vilar (near the cathedral in Santiago). This will entitle you to the Compostela.
